FUD has planned a phased replacement of the water main along George Williams Road. The existing line is a 50-year-old concrete main originally installed from the water treatment plant through Jenkins Lane, Tan Rara Subdivision, George Williams Road, and extending to the Triplett Tank in the Seven Oaks subdivision. Construction within Tan Rara Subdivision was completed in 2025, and the current project includes the replacement of approximately 4,800 feet of 16-inch water main along George Williams Road between the Pellissippi underpass and Zola Lane. Work is anticipated to begin in May 2026.
